Accidentology is a Noise-Punk/Post-Punk band from Lincoln, NE comprised of Sam Maser (rhythm & vocals), Ellis Bass (lead guitar), Forrest Wamstad-Evans (bass guitar), and Ghostt Snyder (percussion). The band was started by Sam and Ellis, who originally wanted it to be a Chamber Orchestra. Through time (and many, many drummer changes), Accidentology became the angsty, melodic, and often noisy band that it is now. They are highly influenced by Sonic Youth, Tool, Queens of the Stone Age, Jimi Hendrix, and The Screaming Trees. They play a big role in the Lincoln Punk and Hardcore community, alongside bands such as Disrepair, Hold Your Breath, Means to an End, and Motel Citizens (to name a few). Their first album was Live at the HQ, a gritty yet sweet entrance into the community. Their second live album Swamp Sessions is set to release on August 28th 2023. It's only up from here!
