A.B.Y.S.S. is a female emcee, singer, songwriter, & graphic designer from NJ, home to Hip Hop heavyweights such as Queen Latifah, Naughty By Nature, The Fugees, & Redman. All of these artists have received multi platinum success and continue to tour the world to this present day. A.B.Y.S.S. is the next household name to break out of the Garden State that will surely fall in line with New Jersey's royalty in Black music, from Hip Hop to R&B. A.B.Y.S.S. stands for "Ask Before You Speak Stupdity", which describes her "no nonsense" persona, because she is strictly about the business that she conveniently dubs as "thABYSSness". A.B.Y.S.S. has been recording & performing professionally for nearly a decade across North America while promoting herself & gaining fans throughout Europe, Australia, & Africa like the legends mentioned above. A.B.Y.S.S. has performed as the opening act to rap artist Maino, reggae superstar Serani, and for comedian Tommy Davidson for a comedy meets Hip Hop show. A.B.Y.S.S. has also performed at the legendary New York City venue S.O.B's for the Who's Next! Hot 97 performance series that focuses on discovering unsigned talent which has birthed careers of many artists who have gone on to become household names in Hip Hop and R&B. A.B.Y.S.S. has also performed at the Hot 97 Funk Master Flex Car Show, which received great reviews on Hip Hop's leading news website, allhiphop.com and landed her the opportunity to record "No Accident" with Drag-On of the Ruff Ryders, in Swizz Beats' studio, which was later released through Koch Records, now known as E1. Liquor brands such as Remy Martin, staff at both XXL & Hot 97, and even legendary producer Rockwilder, the Grammy award winning producer (Mary J. Blige & Christina Aguillera), have all acknowledged A.B.Y.S.S.'s talents in performing and her marketability as an artist. After her accomplishments and recognitions from her peers, music industry tastemakers, and gatekeepers, A.B.Y.S.S. released her 2010 street album titled "Tha Wife Not Tha Mistress" that gained over 30,000 downloads within the first month of its release. In 2012, A.B.Y.S.S. released another album independently titled, "A.I.M (Abyss.Is.Mandatory)" which received great reviews and accolades from her music industry peers and executives. She was highly acknowledged by Debra Antney of Mizay Music Group/Mizay Ent., owner of Be100 Radio, after proving she had what it takes in the Be100America Hip Hop Artist Search Tour in Charlotte, NC. A.B.Y.S.S. has started working on a new hip hop street album titled, "Black Suits & Pink Slips", since releasing her R&B Ep "Rhythm & Byssness" in August 2014, which is now available on iTunes. You can catch her on a TV show called "NY's Star of the Day" with Ernie Anastos, this 2015-2016 fall/winter season on FOX 5.
