Exactly one year since the debut of A Fair Trade, Victims, the debut LP, is being released digitally on February 19th. Containing 11 tracks, written over the course of two years, A Fair Trade shows that they still have energy after the emotionally draining Home which came out just over a month ago.
Andrew Canfield, frontman (and only man) of A Fair Trade posted on Facebook when Home was announced “…the next (release) I put out will be a more upbeat selection of songs.” The first single from Victims proves just that. The appropriately named “Dancing on LEGOs” is an upbeat fictitious angry punk ballad that proves that A Fair Trade can rock without even having a real drummer. The song was originally named “Indivisible” and was featured on A Fair Trade’s 2014 Demo Tape which consisted of 17 songs he recorded acoustically on his iPhone.

Bio
In 2008 Andrew got his first guitar. Since then he has been writing a variety of different songs. In his senior year of high school he decided to get serious about music and A Fair Trade was formed. In January of 2015 he put out a collection of songs that he recorded acoustically on his phone. In July of that year he released Forever, a debut EP made with new songs and some songs from the Demo Tape. The songs were recorded on his iPad and sounded as if they had come from a home studio. In October he released Comatose, a teaser for a scrapped LP due in 2016, but soon after that scrapping, he announced Victims, a full length LP.
