Bio
8-lines was formed by David Henry in Boston, Massachusetts. A Texas boy, David has his roots in the blues with heros such as Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Tessmer. In his previous band, Johnny Austin, he took the lead guitar in both covers and originals by the band.

Starting his foray into singing, he played coffee shops in the Somerville area and built up his repertoire and interest in acoustic and folk tunes, following bands such as The Head and the Heart, The Lumineers, Mumford and Sons, and Chris Thile. The interest in Chris Thile specifically was inspired by a new interest in mandolin.
