Rising Hip Hop star and rapper, It’s Junior is known for his warm and fulfilling lyrics that uplifts spirits. The immersive experience he offers to his fans is akin to a warm meal which soothes the soul with its nostalgic quality. He first started writing music at the tender age of 11 and due to his natural talent, it took him just one year to start recording.

He made his on-stage debut in 2016 at SXSW, which was as creative as it was a testament to his versatile style. He started off his set in homeless attire and changed into better clothes to symbolize his growth and hope for a better future. The sentiment was not lost on the crowd who showed their appreciation by going absolutely wild with some leaving tips in his cup. 

It’s Junior released two albums, Nothing To Relate To (2015) and To The People, For The People (2017) and is set to release his new album in March 2021. He has performed in a range of avenues from sports bars and stages to intimate settings and in each he performs with the same powerful intensity that has set him on the path to Hip Hop success.

He has also won two competitions, one of which gave him the unique opportunity to network during the BET Awards. While the pandemic put a stop to that, it still proves that he is recognized for his talents. With inspiration from the likes of Jay Z, Wale, Tupac, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar, It’s Junior’s music is a blend of old school and modern Hip Hop trends that give his creations a unique southern twist.
