Straight out of Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley, Se7en4 sets themselves apart from the rest with a sound, attitude and a live show that'll punch you straight in the face!
Formed back in 2001 under the name 2 Minutes Hate (which had to be changed due to a million other bands already having it), highway 74 is one of the ways into Palm Desert as well as a street that leads to all kinds of neighborhoods and deserts where the boys grew up partying, fighting, and fucking! A perfect fit for a local band name.
Se7en4 has been playing the Coachella valley, a desert rich in talent and music history for quite some time. When a few original members left the band (some cuz they found Jesus and others because they got married and aren't allowed to consort with troublemakers), the other two original founding members Nico Flores and Steve Hall decided to push through. After all, this is rock'n'roll and you don't quit. The band has gone through a few small changes throughout the years with the addition of Pete Burquez AKA: Pinche Pete on lead guitar, adding a heavier and more dynamic sound to the group. A revolving door of some of the most talented bass players the valley has to offer ei: Eli Beckin from Phallus and (big brother to Nico) Armando Flores of the Pedestrians before finally hitting the jackpot with Trevino Martin (the only member not from Coachella valley), a multi-talented musican and vocalist who has added a whole new dimension to the mix.
Kicked out and banned from bars for fighting on a number of occasions, Se7en4 is still the only band who can sell out a show in Palm Desert all by themselves! Having opened for HELMET, SNOT, MOWER, AGENT ORANGE and countless others, they are no strangers to great live shows. The band's been awarded “Best Punk Band” at the annual CV Weekly Music Awards in 2005 and 2014 as well as Nico Flores getting “Best Frontman” in 2014. Se7en4 finally caught a break in 2014 when good friend Mikey Doling (SNOT, SOULFLY, CHANNEL ZERO) decided to produce their first full length album entitled Lets Get High and Fight with nothing but momentum and drive behind them these party animals are ready to get punk rock and blow up your whole block!
Headed by DirtyNick, an aggressively emotional frontman with a passion for talking shit then backing it up, with Steve Hall on drums, and Trevino Martin on bass form the foundation of Se7en4 hard, fast, loud, and precise! Finally Pinche Pete puts the virgin cherry on top with guitar (he probably has four mutant martial arts turtles looking for his ass cuz he's the fucking SHREDDER!!)
