Zachary James

     Zachary James is a student of life with a masterful pen.  Lyrics are his forte, but the music refuses to take a back seat.  The album 'the stars i stripe' is an ensemble of love, nature, passion, spirit, melody, and instrumentation!  When was the last time you liked all 10 songs on a cd?  Well that is the most prevalent review I get.  And its not by accident, talent is one thing, and integrity is another.  I possess both, and am eager to bring my music to those in need of positive vibes, nature, and connection to something great. 
     As a performer, its all soul all the time, with a triumphant message, well enunciated lyrics, and harmonica playing that likens the great Neil Young, but gets a little dirtier with it.  Energy is the fruit of life and I put a lot of it into what I do.  I've lived all the lyrics so passion is never reserved as I drop into the moments I sing from.  I've currently got 25 original songs and 5 or so covers.  1-2hours of music is ideal for me at this time.  in addition to playing anywhere, I'd especially love to do outdoor gigs and festivals as it resonates completely with my niche and vibe of soulful, nature infused songs.
