Bio
Founded by lead guitarist Nicole Frost, and rhythm guitarist Anand Holtkamp, during a global pandemic in 2020, Vyridian Steel has made their debut in the Chicago suburbs as an American heavy metal band. Primarily influenced by Randy Rhoads, Primus, and Mastodon, Vyridian Steel fuses 80’s glam metal undertones with progressive rock and funky free-style bass to create a contemporary and eclectic sound. The band can often be heard paying tribute to hair metal favorites like Def Leppard, Motley Crue, and Poison—all alongside some of Vyridian Steel’s unyielding originals. Their unique brand of entertainment introduces a blast from the past that will make you want to grab your aqua net, leather jacket, and bang your head all night long.
