Vincent & the Noise

Vincent & the Noise is the creative outlet for 19 year-old singer, songwriter, and producer David Vincent of Waldwick, New Jersey. On May 1st 2020, Vincent & the Noise presents his debut EP, Hello from Isolation, a collection of songs written, recorded, and self-produced during his most formative and challenging years. Vincent & the Noise had previously been promoted through fan and friend Mikey Way (bassist of My Chemical Romance) through his instagram handle for their first release, a bedroom-produced cover of Morissey’s, Everyday Is Like Sunday. Vincent & the Noise’s first collection of music lures the listener into the home-studio of David Vincent before taking them beyond, grabbing them by the shoulders, and turning them to face the noise of the world around him. Using field-recordings and atmospheric sounds, David Vincent sets the landscape before painting his melodies with an array of reverb-soaked guitars, soaring Beach Boys-esque harmonies, colorful string quartets, and synthesizers. Vincent & the Noise's first venture into music was recorded with a wide-variety of friends and musicians alike, including multi-instrumentalist Dan Rinaldi. Though reaching beyond the limitations of his office and into the studio with mixing and mastering engineer Ryan Ball for the 1960's sheen of (Summer’s Gonna) Leave You Lonely, and outsourcing to freelance musicians for the string quartet presented on Fact of the Matter, David Vincent wrote and produced the entirety of the EP in solitude.
