Bio
Hello, my name is Clayton DeVries and I am the founder and leader of Velvet Train. This band started as a way to set us apart from normal bands, we are all in high school together. The band started when me a my buddy, Paxton (tenor saxophone), were just sitting around talking. We thought this would be a great idea because we are both avid jazz musicians and are very involved in all our band programs. We take things very serious in Velvet Train, just because we are all 18 and under doesn't mean we can't rock it. We have amazing musicians playing with us here and it's an honor being able to play and love music. We all go to Vicksburg High School, which is in Vicksburg, Michigan. We perform everything from Miles Davis to Thelonius Monk, and songs you've never even heard. We are excited to see what the future holds for Velvet Train!
