Montana based band The Sleepless Elite are: singer/songwriter Carolina Kehoe, drummer Bay Carter, and former Lemonheads bass player Ben Deily. The band just released their second full-length album, LIGHTS, produced by GRAMMY Award winning producer, Matt Pavolaitis. Carolina attended the Berklee School of Music prior to forming the band. Their sound is frantic, infectious pop, with Carolina’s distorted electric ukulele and Bay’s tight harmonies. Bio
Carolina Kehoe (Electric Ukuele, Lead Vocals) and Bay Carter
(Drums), moved from Livingston, Montana, so Carolina could
attend the Berklee School of Music. During this time,
Carolina met Ben Deily of The Lemonheads, who urged
her to begin writing her own music. Having never played
guitar before, she plugged her ukulele into a Fender amp
with the distortion on high and found something she liked;
from that session The Sleepless Elite was born.
