The Resistors is a Blues Based Rock Band performing in the Tri-State corner areas of Northwest Illinois, Iowa and Southwest Wisconsin. Providing a wide variety of music, the band enjoys playing unexpected tunes that have been "Resistorized" with a different twist on familiar melodies combining blues, rock, jazz and country rhythms. Phil Sullivan - drummer/vocalist and leader of the band has been leading the band for nearly 20 years. Other members are: Colleen Nielsen - banjo/violin/mandolin/vocalist, Bill Encke - guitar/bass/vocalist, Marty Raymon- guitar/vocalist, Gerry Reed- bass/vocalist.
