The MBD Band

We're ecstatic to have a genuine professional Pete Wiedmann on bass guitar. I've been looking up to Pete, following, and aspiring to be like him for his entire career. I'm still learning something new when I see him play with his band. We're super lucky to have him. We want and need Pete whenever he's available!

We've a fine Lady, a true friend, and an excellent musician, Christy Taylor giving the ivories the class they need. She's closing in on her Doctorate in music so soon we'll have a Dr. Taylor on our hands. Amazing! Christy's wealth of music knowledge and teaching skills are simply invaluable. She teaches and supports all of her students with heart felt love and motivation. I've been taking singing, piano, and theory lessons from her for the last 3 years.

We can’t say enough about the high-quality talent we’ve assembled in the MBD Band and Steve Elmy is the perfect example. Steve is a long-time musician who’s been playing music for over 25 years. In his youth he received music instruction from private teachers. Steve’s commitment to music a music career started by attending college at Hartt School of Music in West Hartford, CT. The strong influences from Jazz, Rock, Blues, and Country music accompanied by his natural gifts on the guitar have made him into a versatile musician capable of mastering whatever is thrown his way.

Locking down the backbone of the band with his creative beats and his gifted understanding of music is an elite self taught drummer, Calum Hayes aka "Snax." He can play anything. He's a natural on the kit and he lets us know it with his handsome charisma and fun energy. The sky is no limit for what he's capable of accomplishing.
