Bio

Doc Reinhart is an alternative country rock artist based in Long Island, NY.  He’s an ex-medical doctor turned musician who started his music career shortly after medical school graduation.  In a very short time, Doc’s music has been heard on The Disney Channel and placed in the SONY distributed independent film "What Happened Last Night” (2016).  He has played at such notable venues as The Paramount in Huntington, NY, appeared on WBAI 99.5 FM in New York City, and performed at festivals such as the Huntington Fall Festival and Jersey Shore Music Festival.  Doc Reinhart offers a perspective like no other artist. His range of emotion and depth of character have made his music quite a refreshing choice for many fans and has urged critics to claim "It's hard not to appreciate good songwriting like this” (Skope Magazine).

Doc originally performed under the name “The Grave Jinglers” where he released two albums, “Midnight Sun”(2013) and “Reign of the West” (2015).  Despite inadequate funding and support, these self-released albums received steady airplay in several European countries and hit the US charts reaching #4 in Relix Magazine and #234 AMA.  Realizing his strength as an independent songwriter, the name was eventually abandoned and replaced with his more fitting  stage name, “Doc Reinhart.”

Although Doc certainly maintains an element of lightheartedness both on and off the stage, he demonstrates a commitment to finding that part of existence that is real and meaningful.  It’s this spirit which prompted The Alternate Root Magazine to go as far as stating “Doc Reinhart is a helper of humanity” and is the reason you can truly look forward to sharing in this musical journey.  Be sure to sign up to the mailing list and check in for exclusive updates to join this new exciting chapter which will feature the release of a new full length album, “Quit this Place.”
