Bio
The Dusty Travelers are a local band in Elizabethton, TN. The lead singer is Kelly Strickland. He started The Dusty Travelers in hopes of forming a unique band for anyone who wanted to play music. Matthew "Tree" is the man behind the drum box. Tree is a native to East Tennessee and formed an instant bond with Kelly while joining him on stage one night. They bring a big band feel with their smooth and energetic Appalachian style. They don't play southern rock. The Dusty Travelers play a collective ensemble of blues, country, rock, and real heartfelt southern drinkin' music. The band also enjoys audience interaction. Bring your guitar, fiddle, banjo, or other instrument to the show. Join us on stage for a song. The Dusty Travelers love the company.
