Tech’s upbringing in Lewiston was not without its fair share of troubles and hardship. Having been raised predominately by his grandmother, he spent most of his childhood without a typical parental figure to look up to. Given the incessant crime and drug abuse that rattled his neighborhood, he often found himself falling victim to it. Fortunately, his dedication to his music ultimately turned him around and led to him putting that troubled chapter of his life behind him. “The struggle to coming up is not being addicted to drugs and falling victim to the streets and becoming a product of your environment,” he cautions.
