Bio
T-Cat, born Taylor Catron in the heart of flyover country, got his start in music in 2003 upon going to a friend's house and learning that he was way better at playing guitar than he was at playing sports. Through a decade of playing with bands of all genres he picked up bass, piano, and a diverse group of influences from black metal to bluegrass. In 2012 he decided to go out on his own and started producing house and trance tracks which eventually led to becoming a DJ.
Since then, T-Cat has released three EP's (2014's Disco Never Says Die, 2015's Liquor Assassin, and 2018's ...Some Stuff I Did), held a residency at Bass State University's D*Luxe Lounge (2014-2015), and played dozens of shows and clubs across the Midwest including opening sets for such acts as Ace Hood and Afroman.
T-Cat is currently the live DJ for Royal Family.
