Bio

Sydney Schizzano is a powerful singer/songwriter who cleverly combines elements of indie-rock, soul, rap, and R&B into a unique blend of pop marked by punchy lyrics and catchy hooks. Songs like “Never Be Good” and “Wolves” showcase her ability to draw upon influences such as Childish Gambino and Ed Sheeran for more aggressive and fast paced songs that will have you dancing in no time. Slower and powerful ballads such as “Pamela” and “I Had A Dream Last Night” reveal a soulful, folkier side that can melt hearts, influenced by artists such as Tori Kelly and Regina Spektor. Her band is made up of bass, drums, guitar, keyboard, synthesizers and sensational background vocals.

A seasoned performer, Sydney has appeared as a solo artist and with her band at The Bitter End in New York City, in addition to venues on Long Island and in the Albany, NY capital district. She has also appeared as a guest singing backing vocals for the traditional Irish Folk band The Chieftains, and was chosen to sing The National Anthem for thousands at the opening of a New York Mets game.

Sydney Schizzano’s newly released LP is a 10 song collective written, recorded, mixed and mastered by Sydney herself called You Gave Me Love. You Gave Me Love is a story of love, loss and finding the strength to start again. You can find You Gave Me Love on Sydney Schizzano’s Bandcamp. She also released a 5 song EP in 2017 called Felt. With the help of Rose Record Label Group, this EP showcases Sydney’s various influences while simultaneously sounding like a cohesive project. You can find Felt on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon.
