Bio

Jaime Rhoades:

Jaime has been singing since she could talk, and has heard stories that her first word was “Reba.â€? She grew up with country, blues, and folk influences, which eventually developed into a blues/rock vocal sound. First performances were talent shows and karaoke nights, with her first regular gigs (believe it or not) being in the Fulton Country Fair Gospel Tent. Then she discovered Joan Jett, and the rest is herstory.

Debbie De Steno:

Born and raised in the great state of NJ, Debbie grew up surrounded by many different genres of music, so it was only natural for her to become an artist and musician herself. She began writing at the tender age of 10 and picked up the guitar at 12. Debbie has been in several bands in New Jersey and now in Ohio. Today she lives in Bowling Green, Ohio and continues to write, play and cause as much chaos as possible. Debbie resurrected Steel Wynd when she moved to Ohio and is having the time of her life.

Michael Wetzel:

Michael has been around different musical genres as far back as he can remember. He played cello and guitar in his high school orchestra and also plays piano. Michael started playing guitar around the age of 5 and continues to master his skills not only as a guitarist but a songwriter and engineer. He is attending Owens Community College for a degree in Music Business. Michael currently lives in Portage Ohio with his family.

Miguel Schaefer:

Miguel started playing drums in Andrews, Indiana Grade School Band when he was 9 years old. His dad also played and they purchased a set of Ludwig drums in 1955. His grandson, Owen, has them now and he was 9 when Mike gave them to him. Beyond the school band he played in a jazz trio with his music teacher and his wife. He started with them when he was in the 6th grade and played with them until he graduated in 1965. It was the Whit Trio. Miguel also played in a rock band, at the same time with 5 guys that were older. Miguel went to college after HS for 1 year and played in the pep band at football and basketball games. After college he was hired to work, as a conductor, on the railroad. That job did not allow continuing to play much. In 1967 Miguel joined the Navy and played in Navy bands at boot camp, at the base in Kingsville, Texas and on the USS Saratoga aircraft carrier. He spent 4 years in the Navy and when discharged, returned to the railroad. Once again the ability to play much was negated by scheduling, but continued to practice jazz and rock until 1999 when a neighbor, a jazz piano player, asked if he would play in her trio. They were together until Feb of this year. Miguel joined Steel Wynd September 2013

Logan Reynolds:

Logan is a young man with many talents. While he has been playing bass for the past 5 years, he also plays Tuba. He is currently is a senior of BGHS, where he also plays in the high school band and orchestra. After high school, Logan plans on going to BGSU for Computer Science. In the meantime he enjoys playing bass for Steel Wynd, which he joined in 2013 and also in a heavy metal band, Destroying Patterns. His influences include Death, Dio, Affiance and Dream Theater. Born and raised in Rudolph Ohio, he enjoys long walks on the beach, reading poetry and in his spare time he molds doves out of clay.
