What sets Sanctuary apart from other Maiden tribute bands?
Sanctuary is the world's premiere Iron Maiden tribute band, and features ex SAMSON singer Rek Anthony.
Well known for their elaborate stage shows and blistering vocal and musical performances, Sanctuary gives it's fans an authentic recreation of the Iron Maiden experience. Performing Iron Maiden's hits note for note and, playing material rarely covered by other Iron Maiden tribute acts, Sanctuary stands head and shoulders above the competition.
Sanctuary provides its fans with all the visual elements that Iron Maiden themselves are known for. Simulated flame effects, elaborate backdrops, video projections, Eddie appearances and other visual elements, all combine to produce an experience that many have said was "like watching the real thing". Sanctuary is also the only east coast Iron Maiden tribute band to have been featured in the official Iron Maiden fan club magazine read by millions of dedicated fans throughout the world.
Vocalist Rek Anthony wrote and recorded songs for Samsons twenty year reunion album "Past, Present and Future", which also features ex Samson singer Bruce Dickinson.
