Bio
Ruciano, from Brooklyn NY, has an innovative take on stoner rap, with a distinctive '90s New York sound. Influenced by renowned rappers like Jay-Z and Eminem, he is known as Brooklyn's Aquaman for his intricate flows, multi-syllable rhymes, metaphors, and witty punchlines.
Ruciano has become a notable name on social media with over 11k followers and is commanding attention with his music. He released several mixtapes before signing to P.U.R.E Records on November 2021, dropping two singles in the summer of 2022 “Boss Talk" and “Era”.
"Boss Talk" has gained 17k streams and has been played on Shade 45 Lord Sear's “Drunkin' Mix Show”, various radio stations at Universities and HBCUs, and by DJs from around the world. "Era" has 48k streams and has been featured multiple times on Shade 45 Dj Premier's “Live from Headqcourterz” Show, Dj Eclipse “Rap is Out of Control” show, and LA’s Dj C Truth “Thermal Sound Waves” Show. The music video for "Era" is on its way to 100k views after releasing two months ago.
Ruciano's debut EP "The Becoming" contains 6 energetic and thought-provoking tracks that are all produced by JClyde mixed and mastered by Carlos "DJ Styles" Garza. Since its release in November 2022, the project has achieved 138k+ streams on Spotify. Prior to the release of the EP, P.U.R.E Records held an exclusive listening event in Brooklyn hosted by T-Money of "YO, MTV Raps". There is no doubt that we are here to catch a wave, and that wave is Ruciano.
