Antoine Davis aka Toine R$SCG is the Co-Founder/Head Honcho of the music crew #RSSCG. R$SCG is composed of several solo artists who all make a appearances on his mixtape project Deeper Than Surface Level. R$SCG means Relentless Strong Striving Creative Genius. He is a Cleveland based artist who resides in a decent sized suburb about 15 minutes away called Twinsburg. He started doing music two years ago with friend & Co-Founder Chris “C.P” Pickard.
Reverse: When did you first get into music ?

R$SCG: I been into music my whole life. I just never actually composed music until about two years ago. I was into sound systems & went to school to do them that’s were I got my ear to what sounds good to me & on speakers. Also what kind of beats I like, styles I like, etc etc.

Reverse: Who influenced you going into your career?

R$SCG: I would say Chamillionaire, Neako, Wiz Khalifa, Wale, The Weeknd, and Limp Bizkit off the top of my head. They all had their times when they influenced me. All these individuals I mentioned all have unique ways of expressing their music. I would say these guys are true artists able to make music from the soul like the artists of back in the day.

Reverse: What was your biggest hit ?

R$SCG: I would have to say Miss Mary featuring my homie Mike Billz. Miss Mary had over a couple thousand views, & over 800 downloads on Hulkshare. Even though its about Herbal medicine haha it was still a real soulful, creative way of expressing the appreciation of Miss Mary Jane. Shoutout to Mike and his voice…he definitely has a unique sounding voice. Real soulful

Reverse: Who is your #1 supporter and why ?

R$SCG:My biggest supporter I would say would be my homie Chris “C.P” Pickard. Not everyone was so open to accepting me as a artist. Even as I make moves people are now just wanting to jump on the “bandwagon”. C.p got me actually recording, and has been my right hand with the music ever since. He is the co-founder of the R$SCG movement & the C.E.O of the new Fiyre Ent movement. That’s my business partner as well as one of my more solid friends.

Reverse: How has music impacted your life ?

R$SCG:Music has completely changed my life. I’m mad at myself that I didn’t do it earlier. I’m having the most fun of life at 25 years old. Doing music with my #rsscg camp for the last two years has been the best. I finally have a way of letting go of my emotions without holding them back, while still doing something constructive with these feelings and not destroying shit. Hopefully the next interview we have you will be asking me how I impacted music.
