Rockey Don Jones was raised in the small town of Centerville, Arkansas. His love of music began at the age 2 when he started dragging his dad's guitar around the house. After learning a few chords by 8 years old, he joined a band and performed his first show at his 6th grade graduation. What makes Rockey unique is his wide variety of musical influences. Anything from Merle to Metallica, 90's Alternative to Elvis Presley, or Southern Rock to R&B have molded Rockey into the versatile Singer/Songwriter he is today. In 2014 Rockey was the frontman for Country Rock band DOWNDAY who Charted 2 singles in Country Radio top 40. Their single "Back in the day" reached 32 on the charts and also saw success on CMT. The band was named CMA artist of the month in April that year. After a few Record, and publishing deals in Nashville Rockey has built a great catalog of original music that he now performs all over the country. His shows are high on energy, heart, and support for military Men and Women.
