Rob Cuevas. A true New Yorker based in Brooklyn , NY. Not necessarily a place that's associated with the strong country, blues and American roots rock that is this man. Armed with a leather-lunged, soulful voice, that is as easily at home with soul and R&B, as it is with the sounds generally associated with points south and west. They say the best songs are the ones that you have lived, and Rob has lived a lot. His songwriting draws on his life experience to the point that he is a complete open book. His songs bare his soul and very essence, a true old time troubadour in every sense of the word, while maintaining a relevance, given that all of us can find a little piece of ourselves in his music. Sit back give a listen, and I believe you'll see for yourself how deep his river runs. Not only will you identify with his songs, some of them will be like old friends, but his songs are also a look in the mirror.
