I wrote these two songs in 2013, and never performed nor released them. I was fortunate enough to enlist the rhythm section of Mick Vaugh and Dan Martier (on bass and drums respectively) of the TR3 band.

Mick and Dan have been the regular touring rhythm section with Tim Reynolds for his solo project, TR3. Tim's main gig is as the lead guitarist for the Dave Matthews Band.

I've jammed and sat in with Mick and Dan for various musical projects since the early 90s.When approached to record these two songs for a demo, I called them and they gladly provided a solid backdrop for these two short numbers.

The result is a rumbling, Velvet Underground meets Violent Femmes kind of vibe. These are basic songs, simple lyrics, simple chords, and a neat little hook. Hopefully you will enjoy listening to them as much as we did recording them.

I also have a couple of other projects in the works. I am working on a set to be gig-ready for 2022 and hope to enlist the help of long-time friends and would-be dream team on rhythm: Xavier Darrel Lewis (Combine-Caroline Records) on bass, and Ronald "Ron I" Harris (HR-Human Rights-RAS/SST Records) on drums.
