Mordus is an original Manhattan based Progressive Rock band whose mission is to revitalize the rock scene. Mordus digs deep into human emotion, never holding back. Their lyrics relate to everyday living and life experiences. They write what's on their minds with no filter, getting people aware of our corrupt and faulty system. Good and bad relationships through the years contribute to the writing, with the help of the tragedies that come with families. Experience thrives in Mordus’s lyrics. The emotions of their songs are a conduit to our souls. Mordus is an amalgamation of styles and influences, such as : Foo Fighters, Tool, Disturbed, Soundgarden, Metallica, and Godsmack, to name a few. The end result is an eclectic blend of Hard Rock, Goth, and Metal.

Taber Licea plays lead guitar and vocals and songwriting. Taber’s guitar sound is incredible and always turns heads. Taber plays a custom handcrafted bamboo guitar made by his company Licea Guitars. Carlo Bonavita plays drums and has a major role with Taber in songwriting. Allen Alexander on guitar and backup vocals was born in Panama. Classically trained and session player for years, Allen finds his way back to the root of his style unleashing it on Mordus, complimenting the melodic songwriting of Taber and Carlo. Allen is also known for his voiceovers such as his signature “Droid” voice and in Universal Pictures and Warner Brothers movie trailers. David Leatherwood on bass guitar has played and recorded with dozens of major labels, indie and unsigned bands. He has played with Puracane opening for Depeche Mode, Aerosmith, Sting, and Duran Duran. Mordus’s music is available on world wide digital distribution and radio stations such as itunes, cdbaby, jango radio, iheart radio, Hard Rock Radio Live-Toronto, Daemon radio UK and others.
