"This is 100% authenticity and passion". Unlike most rappers, Mocha Mustafa grew up in the suburbs in Ventura County, California. He has yet to gain traction but has been sharpening his craft for 5 years. The cover photo for his new EP titled Wholehearted displays a bloody heart that he yanked from his chest cavity. Mocha's biggest inspiration is Drake.
Mocha Mustafa started rapping in high school when his English teacher watched him perform and caught on camera yelling "You need to get to studio!". He nurtured that seed by rapping as much as he could, recording modest tracks from his bedroom, performing at open mics and talent shows, and networking. That's how he kept his then hobby alive studying Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Davis. Now, Mocha Mustafa lives in the East Bay, California, working to make better music and level up his career.
