After he won the 2010 94.9 KLTY "Find Your Voice Contest" with his original song "I'm Going Back", Michael James knew God's will for his life. Some prayers later, he gathered a band from guys he hadn't been in contact with for years. Each having previous experience in worship venues, they've created their own brand of contemporary rock that is the Michael James Band. The East Texas-based group consists of gifted drummer/percussionist and back-up vocalist Morgan Good, and his twin brother Stephan Good with his artistic play on lead guitar. Playing rhythm, Michael is the passionate lead singer. And the newest and youngest member of the band, Miles Malone brings a whole new level of drive, and dedication to the band on bass guitar. With their newest EP completed and radio single "Hold On" taking over the airwaves of Christian and inspirational radio nation-wide, and already recording their second, the Michael James Band continues to move forward towards Gods will for their ministry. Up and coming for the MJB includes, finishing their 2nd EP and then full length album. continuing to play along side some of the biggest names in Christian music, as well as past artist they've shared the stage with, David Crowder Band, Needtobreath, Jamie Grace, Amy Grant, Switchfoot, Jars of Clay, The Afters, and many, many more.
