Meet mesmi: A long-time closet creative, this L.A.-based singer/songwriter finally decided to come out of the artist closet and take the leap into music after a quarter-life crisis involving squirrels, defiance and deserted mountains.
With lyrics that are both honest and engaging, mesmi's songs are a fresh blend of pop, folk and soul that share her journey in facing fear, embracing experience and finally owning up to the music. Take a listen and you'll find the unique voice of someone who is equally an old soul and young at heart, making sense of a modern world.
Since the years mesmi has been out and about, mesmi has released multiple singles and EPs, constantly progressing and evolving as an artist. Most impressively, while mesmi has always written and performed her own music, she has also grown creative skills in the studio, recording and self-producing her latest works.
Her music has garnered her such honors as 2016 GRAMMY Amplifier Finalist, 2015 Deli Magazine Artist of the Month and 2014 International Songwriting Competition Semifinalist. mesmi has also been a featured performer at such events as L.A. METRO's 626 Golden Streets Festival, 626 Night Market and SoCAl County Fairs, as well as historical venues such as The Mint, the Hollywood House of Blues and the Silverlake Lounge.

With all the searching and wandering I've done, it's important to me to make music that is honest, human and giving. So much clamor, so much ego, my goal is to make songs that listen. Not saying I'm not adding to the clamor, but that's the goal I'm working toward and the heart I try to keep in mind. The songs may start with my experiences, but they come to life when they do something for you.
So thanks for being here. I hope the tunes meet where you are. Wherever we are, wherever we land, I'd love to do this journey together.
