Mercury & The Architects is a New York City band/art group, dedicated to the representation of frontman/songwriter, TJ Mercury’s music. Their lead track “Tonight”, off their debut E.P., was recently announced the winner of the international songwriting competition, “Song Of The Year" . The accompanied music video for the track has also received major airplay on OKTV in Germany & other video and radio programs from North America to Europe, from Canada to Latin America. 


Mercury & The Architects currently includes TJ Mercury and Christina Maia on vocals, Chelsea Rae on Piano and Joe Petito on guitar. They are occasionally accompanied by various drummers and brass players. The band is currently touring the New York City area including headliner acts at "Webster Hall" on August 28th  and September 4th at "The Bitter End”. Their performances are also accompanied by Chelsea Raes amazing correlating art collection. 

Their debut EP was engineered by Greg Pizzullo and mastered by multiple Grammy winner engineer Mark B. Christensen, known for his work with such major artists as Lady Gaga, The Killers, 50 Cent, Trey Songz & others. Christensen, already working with Mecury & The Architects on their major upcoming full length album, has been nominated for 5 Grammys, with 2 Grammy wins. 

TJ Mercury is a very talented writer capable of transcending genre while still staying authentic and relatable. His lyrics are powerful and his melodies time less. Accompanied by the various talents of his fellow band members, Mercury & The Architects are primed for a big year in the studio and on the stage.
