Marcus Blandón grew up during the new age of music after the new jack swing R&B era of the ninety’s; moreover, his sound is deeply rooted with soul because of the many influences around him was nothing other than David Ruffin, Howlin Wolf, Bobby Brown, and Kieth Sweat just to name a few.

     Blandón was born and raised in Westchester County, NY where he ran the streets with a click most known as black mob, westchester county mafia, or eighty-nine thirty-three. During his younger years he joined the neighbor-hood click that was underneath a local New Rochelle, NY crip set; Marcus Blandón was known as Yung Swizzle then. As he got older around the age of fifth teen, his parents had sold their house and moved from New Rochelle,NY to White Plains, NY during the market boom in the year 2008. 

     Marcus Blandón brother Aka Robert who was the number one freestyle rapper in New Rochelle,NY inspired him to rap but it was not til another brother of his Big D, Big Tazz, or house brung home copies of a group his friends formed called “ Suspects “ gave Marcus Blandón the spark he needed to actually write a complete song. 

      “my brother big d use to bring home mad cds in his binder back when you actually had cds, he did professional body guarding and one of his friends owned a label and I’m scrolling through the binder flipping them heavy ass dividers with the cds slid in the front and back of them and I come across a blank cd with suspects scribbled on the front of it and the rest is history” - Marcus Blandón

the concept of being independent was introduced to Marcus Blandón at an early age, as he grew up around leaders who put there own money to work; those same leaders advised him and guided him during his journey of becoming a man. 

     During the year 2011 Marcus Blandón performed underneath a different alias “supl3x“ and was crowned the mixtape king of Greenburgh,NY where he flaunted his wealth and status of being one of the many songwriters underneath the SODMG umbrella. He graduated from SUNY Finger Lakes with a degree in recording arts, Marcus Blandón is a audio engineer by trade and he even interned at a studio financed and operated by interscope where he met members of SODMG.

     He started a trucking company in the year 2015 and now own several other companies on top of a investment pro-folio that’s worth seven figures, Marcus Blandón now lives in Greenville,SC where he started a independent record label and publishing house “Blandón Records“.
