The band manic impulse was founded in 2018 by drummer Jeff sanders with an idea of a theatrical/Industrial type of metal that has a unique sound and style. Jeff also contributed bass, guitar, and sound tracks to the band as well as in his personal endeavors, Jeffs previous bands archaic skies,a purple cloud, fallen stronger helped him to find resources.Feeling he needed to move forward he decided to add a member. James Gibson joined shortly after bringing a bass sound that intensified the band and brought the manic to a whole new level. James has been in previous bands such as noise supremacy, archaic skies. Jeff and James grew up with multiple musical influences within there family. After doing a local show as a 2pc band Jerry sanders decided the sound was there but it needed a metal guitar that could fill in the riffs. After 1 practice we knew it was complete. Jerry’s previous bands apostrophe X, turbo finger, influenced the guitar sound. Feeling we needed to have the right front man we couldn’t of found a better person then Roger Morris who through good and bad was always at the shows and helping anyway he could, after our EP and 2 practices he became our 4th member and manic Impulse was created.
