"Sharecropper Radio"

Lynne Clarke is as refrehing as an early morning rain. Her music is not your 'average' Christian music. It's all about Jesus. An acoustic based music that will have you tapping your toes, and a melody that will hang in your head for a long time. - Butch Watkins

Yes. I read the lyrics first, great lyric....I expected a ballad, was
pleasantly surprised, great up beat track, full of hope and promise, I''m looking
forward to hearing more.

Yes - At last Ive come across a track where the lyrics are as powerful as
anything in the song. This reminds me of the Keith Green passion ( Praise God) ,
You can not help but get my vote. Hey I love this song, your passion comes from
a true relationship and understand of the Jesus we proclaim. Your backing is
superb, top quality , tight well driven beat and driving force for your vocals ,
which happen to be very pleasing to my ears..... Im going to listen to you again
( wheres that play button.....).

Yes - Great blend of instrumental and vocal. They eally compliment each other!

YES - a definite YES. Where has this lady been? Why have I not heard her
before? Great sound, great message, well executed. Would love to hear so much
more of you. You have a voice that I have an inkling would lend itself to many
different styles of music, (Tracy Chapman''ish)... but this was just
class....sheer class. Big things ahead for you I guarantee it. Love to hear
more. More please!!

YES - Yes, nice folky feel. Sounds like a cross between Kim Hill and Tracy
chapman - Judges

"Foley Music Entertainment"

Lead Vocals: 4.5

Musicianship: 4

Lyric Writing: 4.5

Music Composing: 4

Melodies: 5

Song Arrangement: 4

When someone sees 4, 4.5 or 5 as their score in a category, that tells them, to
me, they are in the professional league and have strong potential. It's a
validation from a pro, letting you know you are doing a fine job.

Every artist should work hard to earn 4.5 to 5 in every category.

I don't give out 4's and 5's easily, so any of those you see, you have earned.?
Well done!

I think your music is fabulous ...

"Susan Bailey"

The style is straightforward pop and the voice is strong and passionate. Songs such as “A Better Cup of Wine” and the catchy “Later On” relate the gospel stories in a fresh new way.

There is more to this CD than stories using scripture. Lynne also tells stories of life. The stories are not always easy to hear but she injects the hope of the Gospel in each of them. - Grape Vine

"Christa Banister (Indie Review)"

Sounds like … earthy folk songs in the vein of Tracy Chapman, Kim Hill, and Joan Baez with vocals reminiscent of Natalie Merchant.

At a glance … as with the best in folk music, Lynne Clarke's work benefits from simple songwriting that's personable and poignant.

With vocals that sound like a cross between Natalie Merchant and Bob Dylan's early muse Joan Baez, Clarke's voice isn't what you typically associate with Christian music. That, along with her strong world-weary delivery, is just part of her charm.

Bio: Lynne is a devout Christian who has seen what Jesus can do in the life of a believer.  Lynne's parents proved to be powerful models of faith and perseverance  They knew and showed her the wonderful things that one can do when one opens his or her heart to Jesus.

Lynne Clarke is a Contemporary Christian Singer/Songwriter with a gift for verse and melody. She prefers to tell stories through her lyrics that show both practical examples of faith in action and convey the message of the gospel. Though songwriting came later, music has always played a major role in her life. Lynne began singing in the fourth grade in her elementary school glee club. As an adult she sang in the church choir.

She began writing Christian music as an outlet during a difficult period in her life. She initially performed for friends and family. She later played at church and larger community events. She now has a faithful following of supporters and believes that the Lord is calling her to share her music with the whole world.
