Blaine Warren - President, Lucky Elephant Studios:

Blaine Warren is a professional musician residing in Roswell, NM. He performs almost any style of music on a number of different instruments. Although he is quite partial to Jazz and funk, he also excels in the genres of rock, pop, blues, acoustic, alternative, and classical. Saxophone being his primary focus, he is also proficient on flute, clarinet, guitar, piano, vocals, and bass guitar.

Originally from Oklahoma, he began his studies in music at the age of 8, taking lessons in guitar and piano. His lack of musical focus as a child left the first few years of his endeavors slightly insignificant. His passion began to blossom at the age of 11 when he began playing the saxophone in the schools music program. Continuing through high school, he flourished as a saxophonist, becoming one of the best saxophonists in the state at the high school level, then leading him to becoming the OKJE High school Jazz musician of the year(2009).

Upon Graduation, he attended Oklahoma Christian University(OC) under the direction of Dr. Heath Jones. Upon his arrival to OC, he had become the lead alto saxophonist in the Jazz Ensemble. Throughout his brief time there, he was able to start performing throughout Oklahoma city at a number of establishments, joining the house bands as the saxophonist and performing for theatres in the pit orchestras as the woodwind instrumentalist. He was in attendance at OC for 3 semesters before deciding to leave and join the US Army, serving his country as a Radio Operator. For four years, he traveled the world while in the military, being deployed to Afghanistan, being stationed in Missouri, Georgia, Germany, and Seattle. He performed every chance he got during that time. While stationed in Germany, He was able to perform as a Bass Guitarist, Guitarist, and a Vocalist for different bands, while his time in Seattle was focused primarily on Music Production.

Once getting out of the active military, Blaine then went back to his home state of Oklahoma. There, he joined the Oklahoma National Guard Band and has performed with them at many events and venues, some of which include; OU Halftime show, the 45th Infantry Division Museum, and the Oklahoma History Center. As of September 2016, He and his ex-wife separated, which led him to getting divorced and moving to Roswell, New Mexico, being closer to his parents and where he currently resides. Since arriving, he has performed throughout Roswell at a number of events, to include the Roswell Jazz Festival, playing with world class musicians, some of which include Nicki Parrott, Chuck Redd, Johnny Varro, Michael Francis, to name a few.

Throughout his career, he has taught all ages and musical levels. He has taught private lessons, led saxophone sections and ensembles, instructed large groups, and given master classes. He currently teaches private lessons in Roswell on Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Guitar, Bass Guitar, and Piano. He is also Currently working as the Media Production Engineer for LES and a busy gigging musician all across the southwest United States.
