Living Water Praise Band Receives Award for Best Classic Rock Group

(Olathe, KS – June 11, 2010)

The Living Water Praise Band receives the Best Classic Rock Group award at the 10th Annual KCCM Awards. The King Cat Music Awards were held on Saturday, May 22nd, 2010 at the Bell Cultural Arts Center in Olathe.

The group was also honored by receiving additional nominations in the categories of Best Live Performance, lead singer and guitarist, Kyle Bardwell for Worship Pastor, and songwriter and keyboardist, Craig Reeves for the Best Artist of the Year.

“We are thankful that our music has a positive effect that gives encouragement and is uplifting,” said Louie Garcia, drummer and founder of the group. The Living Water Praise Band can be seen at music festivals, coffee houses and local churches. They deliver a musical message of hope to the community, and reaches out to others by collecting and distributing items to a local ministry that assists homeless individuals and families.

The 9th annual KCCM (King Cat Music) Awards were held on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Bell Cultural Arts Center at Mid-America Nazarene University. KCCM Awards recognizes the devotion and musical talent of Christian artists during the concert and awards ceremony.

The Living Water Praise Band was named as the 2009 Best Contemporary Group of the Year. The group was also honored by receiving four additional nominations in the categories of Best Live Performance, Best Group of the Year, Angie Power for Best Female Vocalist, and Louie Garcia was nominated for the Best Artist of the Year.

Thanks goes to" Living Water Praise Band" their hard work in completing the CD, the music has been sent to our promoter in CA for mastering. They will be 4 originals on the CD; The Living Water Song, His timing is perfect, Is it Euphoria & a new version of The beloved song "Lord of all the Earth", we've added a chorus on that song and strengthen the hook a tab and some covers. Our hope & prayer that this reaches out and minsters to the churched & the un churched. We like to thank our family, friends,& fans for your continued support, also to our Lord and Savior Jesus - who continues to give us blessings. We are thankful to the Most High. The Living Water Praise Band talented artists creates inspiring melodies
in a variety of genres, including: pop, rock, and contemporary praise
and worship music. Each member contributes their own musical talents
through various styles of influences and rhythms.We just completed our
second CD "Flood of Mercy"and a new single The Living Water Song. Our
musicians are active and committed Christians that are involved in
ministry work in their respective home churches, and in the communities.
Their passion is to share the gospel message through meaningful music,
wherever the Lord may lead.
