"M-Shop Hosts Aaron Carter (live review from tour with AC)"

"Last night’s show kicked off with New York-native band Lineup Atlantic. This is is a two man band with singer/guitarist Dan Edwards and drummer Ed Bentzlin. Although they have only been an official group for about eight months, they have already released two singles on iTunes.

Lineup Atlantic interacted with the crowd by encouraging the audience to sing along to their cover performances. They played their two original songs, “Say Today” and “Keep On Keeping On” as the opening and closing songs for their show.

Both “Say Today” and “Keep On Keeping On” were upbeat songs with catchy lyrics.

“We just start with an idea, even a small idea, whether it’s lyrics or music,” Edwards said, describing Lineup Atlantic’s songwriting process." - Iowa State Daily

"Aaron Carter's party came to Madison (live review from tour with AC)"

"The local band was followed up by Carter’s touring opener, Lineup Atlantic, a duo out of Poughkeepsie, NY. The drummer took the stage with a solo to get the crowd warmed up. The group played their original songs, attracting the crowd’s adoration, but in the middle of their cover of Fall Out Boy’s “Dance, Dance,” a hooded figure ran out on stage and dumped a water bottle on the lead singer. It wasn’t until a girl from the crowd pointed to the stage and screamed, “That was Aaron!” that anyone realized that the man of the evening had made his first appearance." - The Clarion

"Aaron Carter draws in crowds of fan girls (live review from tour with AC)"

"The next act set to entertain before it was time for the Carter party was a New York-based band called Lineup Atlantic. This drummer and singer/guitar player duo covered many hits big with the women crowd like “Animals” by Maroon 5, “Breakeven” by the Script and “Dance, Dance” by Fall Out Boy as well as an original of theirs called “Keep on Keeping On.” These guys even had the early 2000’s sound like that of Jimmy Eat World, Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco which primed the audience for Carter—who made an early appearance on the stage to pour water on his friends of Lineup Atlantic, giving the crowd a taste of what was ahead." - The Daily Cardinal

Bio

They've consistently toured the US as direct support and as headliners playing for thousands of adoring fans, written and released a highly acclaimed EP, interviewed with countless newspapers and radio stations across the country, recorded with one of pop's top producers, and even got some PR from one of the world's hottest DJ's, Dillon Francis. But this is just the beginning. "It's just a feeling you can't describe. When all of these people who live thousands of miles away from your hometown are just screaming your lyrics as loud as you imagined in your dreams. When people tell you that your song helped them through their toughest times. THAT is the feeling that keeps us pushing every day to reach higher and higher." - front man Dan Edwards.

It all began in 2008 - in the basement of a Poughkeepsie, NY home, when two best friends / cousins / brothers decided they wanted to do something new - start a band. Without any knowledge of how to play an instrument they decided to learn. Dan Edwards (guitar / vocals) had an old dusty guitar in his bedroom and a squeaky middle school singing voice. Ed Bentzlin (drums) had a plastic garbage can and two used paint sticks. Over the course of a year they invested in some real instruments and learned how to play them pretty well. This punk rock project, called Tension, did not last long however as the two were over four hours apart.

Fast forward to 2014 when they moved closer and decided to try to do it again. This time pop with a little rock was the goal. They sat down to write some music and finally went into Rob Freeman's (Hidden in Plain View) studio to record with producer Dave Ryan. After recording their first two singles, they announced that they would be direct support to pop sensation Aaron Carter for his 2015 Winter World Tour. Shortly after the band signed to BSIDE Management in Austin, TX.

After having extensively toured the US and growing their fan base exponentially by playing for thousands of fans across the country, Lineup Atlantic released their debut EP after an impressive presale on July 14th, 2015. After having caught the eye of so many, building up a strong and dedicated fan base, and having been backed up by an ever growing street team with divided divisions by state and country, the band and their management team has extensive plans to support their EP release so keep an eye out for these up and comers from New York.
