Bio

LiL MC is a Bay Area battle rapper and recording artist who dropped her first solo album, Prey for Gods, on July 14, 2017. Her album was produced and recorded at J7 studios, an artist collective and studio which was located in Half Moon Bay, Ca, where the rapper was born and raised. She's well known in the San Francisco/Oakland hip hop community for several battle rap and freestyle titles she's won, as well as organizing many events and hip hop shows across the Bay Area over the past five years, including the IWAMS Bay Area music video festival. She’s opened for hip hop legends such as, Equipto, Blackalicious, Mike Marshall, and Zion I,  and has had the honor of judging some of the most prolific bay area hip hop competitions such as the Return of the Cypher MVP battle, and the hip hop olympics at Tourettes Without Regrets. The Bay Area native has performed up and down the coast of California and in 2017 took her musical talents internationally, recording and performing in Bilbao, Spain. She is currently collaborating with BCD records, a Barcelona based production company,  and organizing a tour in Spain for the summer of 2019. She also works as a Hip Hop educator for the Oakland based non-profit organization Hip Hop for change, where she teaches kids across the Bay Area the history of hip hop culture and the art of emceeing. Her next album and rebrand is being powered by the Unlearn The World Production imprint, which is scheduled to drop in the summer of 2019, and will be released on all major music platforms.
