Bio
Likkle Jordee is a young reggae artist from the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The name “likkle” is Jamaican patois and derives from the English word little which was inspired by former child MC from the 80’s, Little Harry. “Jordee” was always a childhood nickname. Jordee born Jordan-Jayce Ramirez started in his intermediate years as his step-mother Kimberly Ramirez, finalist of Hawaii Stars nurtured his aspirations as a singer. It wasn’t until 2012 when he started songwriting and recording. He recorded originals on classic reggae instrumentals like Cuss Cuss, Hot Milk, Cool & Deadly, Taxi and much more. In 2014, he was founded by Tuli Ranks of NewCatPosse and Jahtomic who introduced him to a world of undiscovered reggae ranging from the 60’s-late 80’s. He had grown a deep passion and appreciation for old school reggae and absorbed it all. Jordee was then discovered by Eli Mac in 2016 and featured on her latest album “Tricky One” with their single titled “Nighttime Session.” Jordee has performed with artists like Westafa, J-Boog, Damian “Junior Gong/Gongzilla” Marley and Lauryn Hill. He is now teamed with Live Animaux Studio & Tantriq Entertainment creating and building. Likkle Jordee is known for his small stature but yet a wide projecting sound with his timeless style in reminiscence of good old 80’s dancehall/rub-a-dub combined with our modern day style.
