Left Of Center

 Left Of Center is a blend of classic rock and classic country. The band formed in 2016 out of a friendship between two seasoned field paramedics who discovered a passion for music that the other had. Clint Dodson has been singing classic country music since he was a boy in Southwest Missouri and developed a signature vocal style that lends itself to classic and more current red dirt and country. With influences such as George Strait, Jerry Jeff Walker and Jason Boland, Clint can cover a wide range of styles. Dennis Jamison was raised on rock and roll...from the Eagles and Tom Petty to modern rock such as Seether and Shinedown. His experience even includes barbershop singing and traveling the country singing with a barbershop quartet and many bands over the years. The two came together and found their voices have a unique blend. Tight harmonies, deep lows and soaring highs. Coupled with Brian Jackson on bass with his high energy performances and Dave Johnston’s powerful drum work, Left Of Center brings a broad mix of music styles,  as well as original material to please audiences. Performance options include 2 man acoustic with percussion, 4 piece rock and country sets up to 4 hours. Video references are below. Left Of Center has been busy playing over the last 3 years. They headlined the Pittsburg, KS 4th of July celebration in front of 3000 people, played area bars in southwest Missouri including Turtleheads, Redings Mill Inn, Roumors, Happy Jacks etc...Pittsburg area clubs such as TJ Leland’s, 505, Jimmy B’s etc. Nevada, MO clubs such as Sharky’s pub and Jim’s Roadhouse. Casinos such as Kansas Crossing 3 times, Quapaw Casino and have future bookings at other area spots. The band has been asked to return by every club who has hosted them so far.
