Kyl Veazey

On record, I'm your basic Dirt Road, Texas-style Country singer, but live, I'm a whole different act. Live, I'm a mix of Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Garth Brooks, and Ron White, yes, Ron White. Along with working on my songwriting, and stage presence, over the years, I've developed a really good, and professional stand-up routine. I don't sing funny songs like Adam Sandler. My songs are the same as on my albums. I'm a lot like my biggest influence, Elvis, in that I talk to the audience a ton, and try to make them laugh by telling funny, yet scripted stories in the style, and delivery of Ron White. Probably the two biggest influences of my comedy style are Ron White, and Larry The Cable Guy. The majority of my stories are simply little boy bathroom humor that is funny because it's immature, but is told with such a mature delivery. I'm a lot like Adele in that I just stay in one spot, but talk to the audience a lot, and make them laugh.
