Sun & Shadow is a Dark Wave/Dark Electro duo out of Phoenix, Arizona who conjure memories of a Gothic past (Murphy, Sisters of Mercy) over a synth-wave landscape. Damon DeMartin (Kronos Jump), and Ren Spidell are both multi-instrumentalists and life long musicians. Damon’s somber eldritch tones, mixed with Ren’s hauntingly ethereal voice paint images of fantasy, the supernatural, and the macabre with their vocal palettes. Their canvas is a electronic sound-scape driven by synthesizers.
Damon is known for his work in the past as the front man for Vindicator, and the creative force and leader of the Gothic Rock band The Floorshow.
Sun & Shadow (Also playing out as Kronos Jump) has been evoking visions of the past, present, and retro future since 2013, and have played local clubs along with the Fireland Phoenix Faerie Festival, Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention, and the Phoenix Fire Gatherings.
