24 -year-old Darrien “Kev Rodgers” Scott is a transparent Artist/producer residing in Collingswood, New Jersey Who is now known for Co- Producing Jaden Smith hit single " Icon" of his debut album "SYRE" Rodgers first began producing at the age of 14, and has made a strong effort to balance rapping with his skills behind the boards.

Often focusing on his peers’ music, Rodgers realized it was time to make his own music a priority. So with production credits including Mir Fontane, Fetty Wap Ish Williams, Shaqeyah, Kenif Muse, Rico Nasty, Shawn Smith and production collaboration with Jahlil Beats Mel Choas Lewis and Mike Zombie, Kev has complimented his signature sound with his tag, “Darnell, Turn That Beat Down.” “I promote self-confidence and being RARE" Kev Rodgers hopes to spread positivity with his music and encourage listeners to be themselves. “ Way Up ” and “ MyBad (feat. Ish Williams & Mir Fontane) are two must-know Kev the lead single for his tape, and Rodgers intended to maintain his focus on real issues with his first LP , ‘B.A.D. THINGS' (2017), which stands for “Beauty and Depression.” Though Kev sees beauty in his accomplishments, he also battles with the depressing reality of struggles with family, friends, health and even spiritual issues. These issues also occur frequently in his second LP The Rare One Story(2018) is uplifting with the good and bad of the journey through the form of a RPG video game with the narration by Dorothy Takev the Bulgarian songstress. Kev has also been on Tour with wise guy, the NJ clothing brand in Atlanta. Also a SXSW (Texas ) first time performer (2016) and a A3C Festival official performer 2x (2017,2018)
