Keturah Allgood was raised in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Front porch pickin' and storytellin' were staples of her childhood. Her music remains strongly rooted in the soil of those mountains even as she draws on her myriad of other life experiences. She has the unique ability to reach into the depths of human emotions and pull out the raw honesty that exists there. Her music is a gusty portrayal of lifes' ever changing journey. She taps into the heart and soul of our shared existence. She believes that music has the power to bring us together and reminds us that love, kindness and compassion always shine through the darkness of these often trying times.
