Kelvin Dukes is the 16-year-old high school junior who has been singing since the age of three, acquiring almost thirteen years of singing experience! The young Fine Arts devotee enjoys expressing his creativity through channels like drawing, singing, acting, dance, and other hobbies. An artist who chose to make the stage his second home by the early age of eight, the art of performing and entertaining has become second nature for the singer and theatrical enthusiast, making his growth tremendous over the years! From hundreds of stages and shows all around Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C., to the national stage of America’s Got Talent’s fifteenth season, Kelvin has turned millions into raving fans that just cannot seem to get enough of his captivating presence and lively personality! Kelvin Dukes is a sixteen year old R&B Pop Singer, Songwriter, Producer & Actor from Maryland. Since the age of three, Kelvin has been singing. Singing at camp, and at home, Kelvin sings everywhere! Even in his local Strathmore Choir. At the age of eight, he was picked as a featured performer with the festival’s Youth Choir at the Washington DC National Cherry Blossom Festival.
After these performances, Kelvin had found his niche and wanted to pursue a career in the arts (singing and acting). Kelvin loves to sing on Instagram, "The Shade Room" a popular page on Instagram notice Kelvin's post of him singing " A Leak at this Old Building " by Lashun Pace. From there Kelvin's singing had took off into him auditioning for "America's Got Talent" where he was part of the Quarterfinals. He has recently been seen on HBO Max show The Other Two and hanging out with Elmo and Big Bird on The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo. Not to mention Wonderama TV.
It's such an amazing experience when he's creating new songs. He's learning more and more about what he want his music to sound like and the message he wants to convey to his fans. He's experimenting with new genres and how he wants to incorporate them into his sound.
His performance style is realism and interpreting the lyrics on stage as he perform. Getting into a groove as well as engaging with the crowd. He love looking out at the crowd and seeing smiling faces. It’s what also charges his energy on stage.
The things that motivate Kelvin is his family pushing him to be greater everyday. Also, all the goals that he wants to accomplish motivate him to work harder in order to achieve them. For example, he wants to win awards for his music that he make. and be recognized for the hard work he has put in.
