Bio
Born and raised in Rockport, TX, Justin Howe quickly grew in popularity with his DJ'ing through practice and determination to succeed. Whether it be perfecting a mix or his own music, he always puts his whole focus onto a project until it's done.
While he started professionally DJ'ing in 2018, he's wanted to pursue it long before. Combining his passion for basketball with his love for music, the name Juststrokin was created. He went from making every 3-pointer shot to mastering transitions and drops. Backed by the motivation of his friends, he finally got his own equipment and took music more seriously.
Many connections have been made with other artists and companies just by Justin offering helping hands and reaching out to them on his own--but also with the help of his management team over the years. Through this he was able to move from being an opener for local shows to the headliner for them--and opener for big name artists such as Eptic and Borgore.
His choice in music style has changed over the years, often known as the 'guy who plays the heavy stuff'. However, his favored genre is best described as 'experimental'.
