John & Kass

John & Kass are a male/female music duo from the Philadelphia suburbs. John was an original member of the band Glad and sang lead vocal on their first single, "All Things." John recorded two albums with Glad, and appeared as a vocalist and guitarist on two albums by DC-based singer/songwriter Scott Wesley Brown. Kass sang in opening acts for James Taylor and Elton John, and has also lent her vocal talents to several commercials and radio spots, including the Philadelphia 76ers, Merv Griffin's Resorts, Amoroso's Rolls, New Jersey Lottery, Thunder 102, and Friendly's Restaurants. John & Kass also did session work for a brief time in Nashville.

John is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter, and provides accompaniment for the duo on acoustic guitar, keyboard, or on electric guitar with accompaniment tracks he produces. His voice is reminiscent of Eric Clapton and his guitar playing is an amalgam of James Taylor and John Mayer (acoustic) or Jay Graydon and Carlos Santana (electric). Kass is a singer and songwriter whose voice brings to mind classic female singers such as Bonnie Raitt and Linda Ronstadt. Together John & Kass perform originals and classic favorites with a take that is uniquely their own, characterized by interesting arrangements and creative, polished vocal harmonies.

John & Kass are available as a duo, trio, or 5-piece or 6-piece band. John & Kass perform in a wide variety of settings for equally diverse venues and events including festivals, restaurants, singer/songwriter listening rooms, casinos, wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, private parties, live karaoke, fundraisers, and community and church events.
