Jim Koeppel has opened for, played and recorded with Taj Mahal, Doc Watson, David Bromberg, Les Paul, Cash McCall, Rip Lee Pryor, Selwyn Cooper, Lucious Spiller, Watermelon Slim, Billy Branch, Gene Barge, James Gadson, Tennyson Stevens,Welton Gite, Stanley Berhens, Pat Moss, Keith Christopher, etc. He has performed solo, with his acoustic trio the Delta Coasters, his electric band Dust My Blues, and with others at the King Biscuit Blues Festival, The Juke Joint Festival, the Deep Blues Festival, the Pinetop Perkins Homecoming and clubs nationwide. His CDs include RSVP to Paradise (2016), Lovesick James (2009), and Johnny's in the Doghouse(1998). Jim's music appears in award winning documentaries including the Emmy nominated documentary Carhenge, featured on the Documentary Channel.
