J.R. Allen is an instrumental guitarist and composer located just outside the Raleigh- Durham area in North Carolina. J.R.'s music is influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck Satriani, Eric Johnson, and many other iconic players in Rock guitar. His approach to the instrument takes parts of blues, metal, funk, and classic rock and fuses them together in a sonic brew of intense performance.
