Bio
Interlucid is a retro synth alt-pop project by singer/songwriter/producer Brandon der Blatter. Based in Pleasant Grove, UT, Interlucid is honing his craft and sharing his journey with his listeners.
Interlucid grew up singing in church and taking mandatory piano lessons, but it wasn't until he first bought a keyboard with different voices and opened a DAW that he realized his love for making music. Using software opened the possibility of all kinds of sounds not possible with only a piano. This flexibility allowed for Interlucid to create songs with various retro and orchestral sounds, especially vintage synthesizers and horns.
Interlucid started writing some of his songs as early as 2010, on an old Yamaha PSR-e413 keyboard that he bought. Since then he has written over 25 fully produced original songs for download and streaming. Interlucid is currently booking shows around Utah and working to have his music featured in movies and TV shows.
