Bio
Holly Ann Lewis is a powerful and emotional singer-songwriter, and a dynamic acoustic guitar player. Her music is a blend of folk, Americana, rock, blues, and pop. A California native, Holly has been performing professionally since the tender age of 15. Her professional career started in the bay area where she performed and recorded with legendary Chapman Stick player, Bob Culbertson , and grandmaster drummer & Grammy award winner Babatunde Olatunji, in the band, "African Rain". Holly was in African Rain and performed with her band, "Mr. Herb," until the age of 21, when she parted ways with both bands, and pursued her solo career. Releasing her first full-length album, "You Will Fly" in 1995, Holly traveled the country playing shows in Chicago, New York and later settled in Seattle for a while. After moving back to her home state of California In 2012, Holly released her 2nd full- length album, "Miles Around," in 2016.
Holly has recorded and collaborated with many musicians from around the world, on a variety of recording projects. Currently, Holly is performing on California's Central Coast as a solo artist and with her duo, "Lewis & Rose."
Holly is about to release her first single in Jan 2022! she is in the studio recording tracks for her upcoming EP to be released in late fall 2022.
